Churches Together will be standing for peace around the Gainsborough statue on Market Hill, in Sudbury, Suffolk, on Sunday 21st September, from 3.30 to 4pm. This is open to everyone who wants to stand for peace.

We will be holding another demonstration around the Gainsborough statue on Market Hill, this coming Sunday, 21st September, from 3.30 to 4pm. The demonstration will be strictly limited to calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, and will not address any of the wider issues.

🙏 Saint Oscar Romero was shot on this day in 1980. His commitment to speaking out for poor and marginalised communities in El Salvador ultimately resulted in his assassination. We are immensely proud that he was a friend and partner of ours.
