I think next year I want to record my drawing process. So many artists have to resort to doing it because of stupid AI. It sucks we even have to do with without being hounded. Clip Studio Paint has the time-lapse feature, so it could work out.

99% of the work on a book, for me, is the early chapters. Bringing absolute clarity to a world, establishing characters, motivations, setting up the big peices you'll knock down. The last half is just executing on all the setup.

When you finish a book and you just know when you go onto goodreads the ratings will be abysmal because so many people hate a story that doesn't do the things they want it to, instead of appreciating that an author is doing their own damn thing.

I've never really liked the term "FERAL" to describe four-legged "anthros". To me, it implies they have no sapience, yet they can be just as complex, as a lot of XF has shown. It just evokes negativity. So now I have made my own terms/types for Anthropomorphic Animals: "QUADS" and "BIPEDS".

Of all the pieces of advice dealt out to aspiring authors, the one I hate most is, "Write what you know." It seems antiethical to the creative impulse. Instead, write what you love. Write what excites you. And if you don't know something essential, look it up. Have fun learning.
