My god ear infections are the worst... This was a pretty nasty one but at the stage now where my ear is completely closed up, not much pain, still feverish and headache.

Nothing like having an ear infection where you can feel the pressure of it and its annoying AF... One of the only times I EVER take paracetamol. And ever since about 2015, I have only taken it on one other occasion, due to the overuse of antibiotics creating bacterial resistance.

From the looks of it, it looks like Microsoft has neutered mostly people who work on id Tech, their in-house game engine. So... I wouldn't be surprised if the next Doom game is based on Unreal Engine...

I'm having OLED sickness... I love the MiniLED monitor but the matte coating is REALLY annoying and it really does raise the blacks. I'm also REALLY missing the impactful size of 42 inch vs 27 inch. If I end up going back to the OLED, I can use this to replace my Cooler Master GP27U as 2nd monitor

I just discovered the NVIDIA 610 Linux drivers has a 25% ish performance regression in most DX12 games. Yep, that is a revert. I guess all my system and kernel optimisation made it basically invisible to me because it got mostly offset.

The only improvements I can think of for the KTC M27P6. - A glossy version and a huge improvement to the matte version. - 2x the zone count, the M27P6 has its China only. - Adaptive Sync that doesn't flicker like mad. - Better controls over the whitepoint and colour gamut in HDR.
