I still find it baffling that Robbie Gibb presided over an interview panel that appointed his friend, Michael Prescott, to oversee editorial guidelines. Why didn’t he declare his interest? In any other industry apart from politics, this would mean dismissal.

The huge taxes on cigarettes and alcohol contribute to the social cost of both of these vices/habits/pastimes. Why should gambling be any different? Problem gambling in the UK is largely hidden but the consequences for the gamblers and their families significant.
