On May 4th we caravanned to Cal City Detention Center as a part of #NoCampsCA actions. This former prison sits out in the desolate Mojave Desert. Our neighbors are trapped inside, living in inhumane conditions. And private companies like core civic are profiting from them. We aren’t angry enough.

Alejandro Cabrera Clemente, 49, was "found unresponsive" in his cell at a Louisiana ICE internment camp on Saturday, April 11th, according to ICE. They claim they brought him to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. ICE has provided no explanation as to the cause of his death.
