In a 'midnight raid' on Tuesday, over 300 agents stormed an apartment building in a predominantly Black and Brown neighborhood of Chicago – kidnapping 37 people, including US citizens, and separating families. This isn't what America should stand for.

In the middle of the night on Tuesday, #ICE raided an apartment building in the South Shore neighborhood of #Chicago – taking 37 people from their homes, including at least one US citizen. Agents broke locks and busted into nearly every single unit in the five-story building.

BREAKING: Trump announced today to top military officials that he plans on sending the military into #Chicago. This is intimidation, escalation, and - by the way - illegal. He also suggested the military will treat Chicago as a "training ground." For what, exactly?

The person in charge of the US military just told them their role is to "kill people and break things." Members of the military took an oath to the Constitution, not to violence for violence's sake.

Trump is sending the US military to Portland, presumably to suppress peaceful protestors. He also encouraged troops to apply “full force,” which could include tear gas, rubber bullets, and chemical weapons- all of which been used by ICE to intimidate protestors in the Chicago area.

A new CNN report has found that ICE has separated at least 100 children from their parents.

Did you know that the word "humane" was removed from ICE's official policy? The policy, the Detained Parents Directive, had previously included a written commitment to pursue “humane enforcement” of immigration laws. This year, ICE has stranded at least 100 children by deporting their parents.
