#ICCEES2025 day 5: This final day was packed, with Azerbaijan’s new Left, emigré Euromaidan participants, possible future(s) for Crimea & Ukraine's minorities in wartimes among our topics. We are grateful for all the conversations had & glad to have contributed as a partner organisation this year!

Great finale of a super interesting 5-day conference with a wonderful talk by Sergey Radchenko. Lot of inspirational ideas gathered. Holidays already over, next week I will be restarting my hard PhD work.

Back from #ICCEES2025 in London where we had a great conference: stimulating panels and debates, meeting with old and new colleagues and friends… Lots of projects in the pipeline! I even managed not to buy too many books. 📚

The people in the photo enjoy spending time reading through kilometres of documents produced by the secret services, trying to extract any trace of meaning from them. It was a great joy to co-organise a panel on preventative policing and repression in the USSR and Czechoslovakia at #ICCEES2025
