Made a new pocket journal for the new year. I used a lucky charms box and some canvas self adhesive patch material for the cover. This one is actually a planner and notebook. Designed a weekly spread in Inkscape and printed out 26 weeks worth. Also designed a dot grid for the journal side.

Pretty enthused. I got inspired to make my own pocket field notes journal. Just 12 sheets of printer paper cut into 4.5" tall pages, folded in half, then sewn together with a popyart box cover using a leather working needle and some waxed thread. Trying to make a midi quantized looper pedal with the hothouse daisy seed pedal. It's both going well and not well. I can now read midi notes in, but for some reason it prints as garbage, and I can't read in the Midi Time Code in to get the bpm at all.

Almost got myself in trouble. I was following the Zynthian V5 schematic, but didn't realize that it uses the QFN footprint, I'm using the DIP package, and they have a VERY different pinout. I thankfully thought to verify the data sheet with the schematics before I started soldering chip connections.

well this a project that absorbed way more time than I planned. mcp23017 and encoders to control raspberry pi running #Zynthian. turns out the only solid core wire I had on hand was just red or 0.1mm magnet wire. but it's 99% done. just need the ground bus, but thats tomorrow's problem.

Super happy with the motivation just one guitar class has given me. I learned all of the rhythm guitar parts for The Trooper, the beginning of Blackwater Park, and the lead solo for Snakes for the Divine(at like .2 speed)
