To the
@bsky.app
Airbus pilot community- You know when you are preparing for departure and you get those annoying NAV RA 1 or 2 faults on ECAM? This is often the cause. Loaders parked under your Rad Alt antennas. So chill, wait till loading’s done and your message will probably clear all by itself.

American Express’s perfectly presented G650ER. If I didn’t believe that executive jets were an environmentally destructive symbol of excessive cooperate greed, then I’d probably think this thing was pretty darn cool.

I thought I’d get a couple of snaps of our resident A380s in the sunshine this morning, but that big grey lamp post in the pic on the left was spoiling them. Thankfully ChatGPT was happy to remove it for me!

It really brings me no pleasure to share this picture with you. Perhaps I’m in a minority, but this Condor livery is not to my liking. D-ANCZ at LGW today.

B737-300 of 2Excel Aviation at LGW on a round trip from Liverpool. A fairly safe bet that it was carrying the Liverpool football team for their away match at Brighton. Liverpool lost by the way.

✋ Former USG war crimes lawyer here. Apropos of SecDef's remarks this morning: Denial of quarter—even the declaration of no quarter—is a war crime. And recognized as such by the US Government. From DoD's Manual for Military Commissions.

Brighton City (Shoreham) ESH pretty quiet this afternoon. I did see this nice US registered Twin Comanche N55AG from 1965 and a Jodel that looked like it might a similar vintage, but is just 10 years old.

According to
@flightradar24.com
there are currently 9 Hawker Hunters airborne; 5 off San Diego and 4 over the Atlantic near Jacksonville fl. Incredible that an aircraft that first flew 75 years ago is still earning its keep today. What a machine!

I picked up a bunch of old Dinky aeroplanes from eBay last week to add to my collection. It including this Sikorsky Sea King in US Navy colours. The fun thing about this model is that it has a motor. After some minor adjustments and a new battery she’s restored to working order.

Trump’s demand that he takes possession of Greenland 🇬🇱 is a clear message to Putin’s Russia 🇷🇺. It says “I don’t care about Europe 🇪🇺 or NATO. I’ll just take the bit on my side of the Atlantic, you can do whatever you want with the rest”.
