This website is awesome and, amazingly, has rollback netcode, which makes Chess MMO PvP feel shocking good lmao

I think that we are headed towards an era of pulling away from big internet, now that folks have experienced a healthy dose of its limitations very curious to see what the web will look like in the next 5-10 years

I think part of the kinship between melee players is the widely shared understanding that many if not most of us have seen “it”, had the realization that there is so much more of it left, and that there are unlimited quantities of it everywhere

Not sure what compelled me to make posters recently, but enjoying doing a bit of graphic design right now. I have not done very much "System 1" creativity in a while, and it is interesting to see what visual language emerges. Also, seeing where my current expressions of composition and form are at.

practicing is considered to be a form of cheating in most sports, as well it should be. take a look at the last 20 or 25 nba champions. i guarantee you that the vast majority of them held practice almost every single day. it's destroying the sports we love

i don't like that when it's daylight savings time, technology automatically updates your clocks for you it's opt-in by default now - and even tho i always opt in, i miss my illusion of control

For all the slop, YouTube (and honestly, yes, even TikTok and the ilk) has gotten to the point where I am constantly seeing people who are straight up some of the best at what they do

there is a popular belief for critique that the onus is on the person receiving critique to just take it, and then filter and process on their own time while I don’t entirely disagree, I personally always try to give critique that is pleasant and considerate of the receiver’s context - imo it helps

For most of the past year, I have been using reddit in a *new and revolutionary* way: subscribing to 100-300 completely random subreddits at a time every few months. It is incredible and I recommend it to everyone
