Soldered something for the first time today since my cataract surgery. I’m super happy with the 2 color led technique and to be able to actually see out of my right eye finally! Those 1204 side LEDs and some hot glue magic for diffusion are my happy place right now. It’s soo cute! #PCBart

My mom passed away in 2021. My dad recently digitized all my mom‘s old photos from when she traveled. And now I’ve been going around the world retaking photos in the same places she stood. 51 year difference at Notre-Dame and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Simulating digital fit for corsets is difficult for me. I have a short torso and my waist is 18inches in a corset. Clo3D just don’t have the “tighten this like you don’t wanna breathe” feature to simulate corset patterns yet 😝 #sewing

When corsets only have a 1mm tolerance for accuracy, why cut the fabric by hand? 🤣 @xtool-official.bsky.social P2S laser cutter is helping me with my mockups :)

Photo 1 is the $12 tariff tax I had to pay. Photo 2 is a order I made on January 22nd. Both from JLC, who I order from frequently, and this is the first time I’ve had to pay the tariff tax.

Paid my first tariff tax this week on order of PCBs for JLCPCB. My boards were $40 and tariff tax was $12 😡😡

Handy Online Metric Screw, Nut, and Washer Generator

I’ve been soldering for years and years and I never knew this existed. This little Surface Mount vacuum to pickup and place tiny components has been a game changer. I’m no longer losing parts that go flying in the void with tweezers.

Using a projector for my sewing patterns has helped me sew much…except for my knees 🤣

10 years with teal hair. I decided it was time for change. 🩷 Pink hair for my 40’s, wonder what color I’ll pick when I’m in my 50s 😆.

February’s PCB board is done and prototypes ordered! I’m trying to give myself more play time in my projects this year, with less pressure. I want to make one cute PCB a month for this year. February is League of Legends(to go with my cosplay). March is going to be a cute Van Helsing pcb. 💕

Captain Fortune cosplay is coming along! I designed the patterns in Clo3D. I’m thinking I will have to order custom printed fabric with the pattern for the pants. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I’ve used spoon flower before. ❤️

One thing I used to love about Twitter was the incredibly helpful tech community. It was a fantastic resource for troubleshooting issues, finding inspiration, and sharing cool projects. I loved being able to lift others up by resharing their amazing work, as well as showing off my own 3D prints.
