Teachers! What’s the worst task you’ve been given as part of a teaching interview? I was once asked to make and fully resource a SOW for submission before the interview day… I withdrew my application.

Two questions form the basis of pretty much everything I do in teaching: 1. Would I accept that of my child? 2. Would I accept that for my child? If there is any hesitation answering then I know it’s not good enough.

Doing the basics really well day-in and day-out is what fantastic teaching is, bells and whistles are just noise.
