In 2 days it will be 16 years on HRT for me. My first holiday with my wife's family had a cousin of hers tell me that she preferred the new me because I seemed so much happier over the old me. It was *that* noticeable how miserable I was pre-transition vs. how much happier I had become.

Didn't expect to be painting more, but can't have Scorpion Empire without a Warhawk. I love the "C" Variant sculpt.

I just checked. This is the 46th #battletech miniature that I've painted for myself, and somehow the first Inner Sphere house military unit. Tian-zong, Tau Ceti Lancers, Capellan Confederation.

I am still here! Work has just been exhausting and I've had other life events going on which has unfortunately kept me from being able to paint any miniatures or terrain pieces of late. Am hoping that will change soon!

Those fun moments where I can't decide if it's just casual misogyny, or if it's just me, bc I explained something 3 times to a male employee, and they still didn't understand. I ask my supervisor to explain it and he just rehashes what I said all 3 times and the employee gets it all of the sudden. 🙃

I have come to the conclusion that my job has really made me become horrible with personal email. I was out for two days and came back to 158 emails needing my attention--and that is on the lower end. So the last thing I want to do is check my personal email when I'm home.

Finished up a Steiner lance for a Tyrfing campaign battle last Saturday. The Omni-Crossbow on the right is cosplaying an Innersphere Crossbow, also the Crusader mech is a non-jumper. The crossbow didn’t survive and will be replaced with a Thunderbolt. #battletech #mechwarrior

In between working on some terrain stuff my future #Battletech 2 v 2 match, I finished up a touch up of a Blackjack, a Locust, and a Wasp from the Alpha Strike box in a 15th Arcturan Guards paint job. They were originally just a dirty white and looked terrible. The added color helped a ton IMHO.
