I had to stare at this thing again since comparison stole my joy for a moment there.

I really needed this break. I find it really hard to work on my own stories anymore when my brain is so scattered from other things I need to do and morale being low.

I forgot about how well 5 week comic book deadlines and my ADHD brain jive together. One webcomic page a week? no can do. Hyperfocus on an entire 24 page comic in a month? Sure! Why? Because I am completing something. Leaving one page just dangling pisses me off for some reason.

Looking at people posting links ro other random new social media sites and I think people forget why so many creators and celebs moved to Twitter from MySpace. It was kind of like a chat room for lonely people in different parts of the entertainment industry to talk at people from.

I was trying to figure out how to describe where my mind is right now. I can over analyze things in the world that I can't control so it's not scary, but things I can control are even more scary because I HAVE to solve them by myself. So I lay there and think about quarterly taxes.

I don't know why it's so hard to write posts about the things I'm excited about or my creative stuff when I'll blabber about it forever IRL. Sometimes I wish I could stream again or something and just chat, but my internet connections is the worst.

A lot of the villages and ruins Hytale generates are SUPER cool and unexpected. This one Seahorse found and we've turned it into the main base.

A lot has been going on IRL so I'm just feeling tired and not particularly social. A relative passed away that was living with us, so that is always a process. Gotta get back to work now, though.

I somehow actually had a dream last night that I remembered and it helped me with my writer's block. Two dreams I've had lately have steered the direction of this project. 🦊🫖🧝‍♂️

The journey to get my projects done will be a lonely one for sure. Just have to brave it.

My second most favorite thing from today was seeing someone call an agentic OS a "sloperating system"

I avoided the place since it seemed like a cult of personality more than a professional business, but I was hearing from Hiveworks members well before the pandemic that they were slow to pay if at all.

I treat my comic pages as time capsules. Old friends, cancelled comics, and more hide within my story. Some relationships have changed. Some people I don't speak with anymore. But it feels disingenuous to me to try to deny the past by drawing over these characters.
