A little glance at the “new” J-Novel series I started working on in 2025.~ (Not pictured is my unannounced title 🥲) I really like working on shojosei-esque light novels/manga 😆 (Repeated Vice being the odd one out lol). The covers are always just so pretty looking #lightnovel #manga #jnovel

Lets talk about “Notorious No More” For the main logo I went with a serif font with a fairly large variation in thickness. I made some minor edits, adding the detailing on the “N”, the curl on the “o”’s, changing the dot on the “i” to a different shape, as well as the cutouts in “r” and “s”.

In 2025, I worked on 26 volumes as a logo/cover designer and lettered the equivalent of 14.5 volumes! My goal for 2026 is to continue on, and hopefully work with some more pubs. (Especially as a designer). So if anyone is hiring or knows of any opportunities feel free hit me up! #manga #lightnovel

Let’s Talk Old Country Bumpkin Setting up the logo and first cover layout for this series was a struggle. More so than any other series I’ve worked on. Also fun fact I got assigned this title at the same time as the Brilliant Healer’s LN and manga

Let’s talk Fluffy-Eared Realm Restoration The cover/art is pretty cutesy & has a childlike vibe so I wanted to match that feeling when I was creating the logo. The logo was pretty straight forward, just text with some minor adjustments ie. Words and letters tilted to match how the jp fonts are

Let’s talk about Brilliant Healer’s cover/logo starting with the manga. For the “Brilliant Healer” text I went with the font “Bluee Next Tilting”. It just felt like the perfect match to the large jp font. As a bonus it has diamonds as the dots for the “i’s” and diamonds were used on the jp logo.

Thought it’d be fun to discuss logo/cover designs. For Lady Bumpkin, the goal was to create a “fun” logo. I always like to choose fonts that match the general style of the jp ones. So for the main font of this series I went with Catfiles! It’s a thicker font and already had tilted letters (1/2)
