Exactly why I don’t use block lists. This happened a lot on Twitter too - folks would find an account they didn’t like for whatever reason and they would put them on popular blocklists.

On behalf of our European #FBPE movement, I wholeheartedly support this request. We too need group chats on BlueSky to organise ourselves, prepare campaigns, and reach our supporters quickly. It is cumbersome to have to use different media all the time because that possibility is lacking here.

When Chinese officials use the term "Tibet" they refer to the so-called "Tibet Autonomous Region". However, this consists of only 40% of historical Tibet and was created by China in 1965; 60% of Tibet was divided between 2 Chinese provinces. The Dalai Lama was born in an area annexed by China.

I'm not a fan of people who love the fact that they are followed by many more people than they follow themselves. Their attitude means they don't care about other people's opinions. I mostly ignore people who want to stand out from the crowd I prefer to deal with others on an equal footing.
