When you run a marathon the temptation is always to go out too fast. You see the crowd running ahead and so you try and keep up, only to slow down by mile ten and completely crash by mile 20.

Funny how #Garmin says I’m no longer overreaching but am simply unproductive right after i go on a 12 mile run. Can’t I be both, unproductive AND overreaching??

Funny how when I'm running with a tailwind I barely notice it but when there's a headwind it's all I can think (and complain) about. Also, pretty sure this is a metaphor for life in general.
