Happy National Fisheries Day! Freshwater ecosystems are vitally important fishery hubs - the Great Lakes' fisheries alone are valued at over $5 billion dollars per year. National Fisheries Day shows appreciation for their commitment to sustainability, collaboration, and innovation.
