I played some Archipelago yesterday - Main Game: Heretic Side Game: Paint. This most recent painting isn’t my best work, but I’m pleased how quickly I was able to reach my accuracy goal of 70%.

I’ve been enjoying Archipelago Paint randomizer for some time now. Yesterday I created this, both the meme image and its painted replica.

I didn’t break my record for most BBG submissions this year, but I did tie it. 2 VR games, and 2 Steam games. I did not submit any races this year, but this is my first ever co-op submission to a marathon! Here’s hoping it makes the cut.

I’ve been enjoying karaoke as a side hobby for a few years now, and yet my brain has had a blind spot for Hotel California. It’s one of my all time favorites and for several years now it’s as if the song never existed. Guess I’ll have to get caught up tomorrow. Brains are weird.

The past couple of years I’ve been looking for VR games that would be good candidates for Big Bad Game-a-thon. I’ve played 2 Cactus Cowboy BR games for BBG, and both were heavily flawed in different ways. This year I’m playing through the third game in the series, and I’ve got to say, I’m torn.

Had a good evening gaming tonight. I got some great practice with the mystery BBG game with dowolf. I also sank my teeth into Bullets Per Minute, and I think I’m in love!

I found another VR game that just has me asking… why? I wonder if it has alternate control methods, because the movement gimmick is TERRIBLE for repetitive motion injuries. It’s perfect for BBG. (Don’t worry, I made my own control method).

On the subject of multiplayer bad games, if anyone is interested in a 6-player cooperative experience with awful controls and questionable content, dm me.

Had a wonderful time playing a new bad game project with some Kusogrande buddies. We finished faster than ever with 4 players, but I’m still hoping for a chaotic 6 player run.

#SGDQ2025 was the best GDQ I’ve experienced to date. I got to spend time with incredible people, old friends and new. The Kuso Live tournament and Kuso GM dinner have inspired me to start streaming again. I’ll post some rough hours here once I determine a schedule.

I dreamt about meeting new friends, playing new arcade games, and discovering new board games. Man, I miss GDQ.

I can’t help but wonder what Welcome to the Black Parade would sound like if Goofy sang it.

Last night was pretty fun. I got a sub 1:10 on RE4VR NG+FF, and I remembered about 70% of Koro Koro Post Nin. I need to find a balance between BBG and GDQ practice.

Got that weird game working last night and I’m glad I did. The cutscenes are solid gold, but the gameplay gets really repetitive. I did discover a potential speed tech, but boy is it ever jank. Why do the characters have to jump so high and floaty?

I love finding a new odd duck of a game that seems too silly to be real. U hate finding out that it crashes repeatedly at the end of the same level on my PC. Gotta fix it, I need more jank (but not that kind of jank).
