Sometimes I look at a fictional character and go "I can fix you." Not in a relationship way. In a "you had so much potential but were so poorly written and I know I could've done a better job" way.

You ever notice how a lot of fan creators tend to make things that are the opposite of what the source material actually is? Like, fluffy material now has adult content and horror AUs, and dark and gritty material has "but what if they're all friends?" vibes. I find it very interesting how that is.
