The API runs with less than 350MB RAM and fits within most of the free-tiers of the cloud offerings. Here is me running it on Railway with a API and a cronjob to upload to R2.

I don't know where gnu org ftp hosting is, but it's gotta be the slowest ftp ever. I've downloading a Emacs 30 tarball for over 10 minutes, and it's still going. 100KB/s on average.

Ah Junie, the beautiful IDE AI that does slightly worse than Claude Code on everything but significantly cheaper. Maybe the core issue is it defaults to GPT-5 instead of Sonnet 4.

I wanted to buy a Framework laptop, but lacks of any good reasons to pull the trigger. A laptop could mean 3-4 years of pro subscriptions for a number of services to build actual applications.

AI age is great for
#Emacs
. Everyone can now customize their IDE/editor to the extreme without need to master ELisp first. Not that it'll make Emacs the best IDE, but it'll make creating a "personal" editor easier than ever before.
