Starting Veltman and Welbeck worked well and Mitoma was brilliant again. Milner did his bit and Dunk’s defending was excellent. Van Hecke made a difference, Gomez is back on form and Hürzeler did well with the subs. A win would have been nice but much better all round! Thank god for that! #BHAFC

The pundits were talking about relegation even before the match today and we were hoping for Europe! Have the ‘team’ stopped playing for Hurzeler, just didn’t know what to do today or have just given up? Difficult to tell. #BHAFC

Brighton Everton at the Amex Groundhog Day! Our second goal didn’t look offside to me then we concede 30 seconds after the end of stoppage time when the match should have finished! Why did Hürzeler take Gross off in the last minute of the game! It knackered the flow, cost us the win and 5 places

I’d like to say I can’t believe we lost that, but I can believe it. A series of unfortunate events but becoming the norm for us at the moment. Verbruggen should have saved that last one. I’m still not convinced we wouldn’t be better off playing Steele, he was bloody brilliant in the MU cup game.

That was one of the worst games I’ve ever seen Brighton play! Even after we went 1-0 down, we still didn’t seem to have any enthusiasm for winning and looked more like we were the team running down the clock! Kostoulas was the only player who looked like he was really in the game at all.

Created more chances, had more possession and looked the more likely to score right up until Rashford’s unchallenged goal. A terrible debut for Cashin, and what in god’s name is Hinshelwood doing at the moment? A game to forget. Maybe time for a new goalkeeper too.

A shame we didn’t win yesterday, but the fact we expected to beat City, and we’re disappointed that we didn’t, is great!

That was hard to watch, 65% possession, more shots on target but still managed to lose to 17th place Palace! Enciso was the only player who looked like he cared today; apart from a 10 minute bounce back at the start of the second half we were woeful. Hürzeler needs to sort this out now.
