Great. Year's going absolutely wonderfully. Just yesterday my laptop with windows decided to force an update, and then it couldn't load at all. Any fixes I tried and friends recommended didn't work at all. No recovery, no fixing, so now I'm restarting all of it with Linux.

One thing I find interesting: day/night lengths and how they shift. Summer and Winter solstices are particularly curious. Day or night is way longer than the other, and it gets weird when you look out the window at 16:00 and it's dark out. Or it's still bright, but it's past 20:00. Wild & wonderful.
