So Xbox Game Pass is going to $30 a month now. I've been meaning to downgrade my subscription for a while now, but now I'm gonna make sure I actually do. $20 a month was already a lot, no way I'm paying $30 for it. This is ridiculous.

Name a video game made before 2000 Super Metroid. It was the first Metroid game I played and I loved it.

Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell might be my favorite post Ozzy album. Featuring Ronnie James Dio as replacement vocalist, it has a different vibe than what Sabbath had put out prior. It breathed new life and energy into a (then) struggling band, they took a risk and it proved to be well worth it.

Halo 3 came out 18 years ago as of today. This game (mostly) hasn't aged a day, its gameplay is still Halo at its best and its story a great ending to the Bungie trilogy. The ending Warthog Run still gets me hyped.

On this day in 2009, Halo 3 ODST released. This game holds up well, there are many cities in gaming but most dont hit as hard as New Mombasa does. The atmosphere is unmatched and the music adds so much to it. The story was also simple but pretty engaging. Easily one of the best Halo campaigns.

Quick rant; if your passing a semi-truck on the interstate, your allowed to go faster than it. Too many times I get stuck behind someone going barly any faster than the truck they're trying to pass. You don't have to speed, but if the speed limit is 70 and the truck is going 60, then go 70 minimum.

Finally got around to finishing Doom the Dark Ages, what a game. While it didn't click with me at first, it grew on me as the game went on. The "stand your ground" style of combat feels so good and satisfying. I liked it more than Doom 2016, not sure how to compare it to Eternal. Overall, loved it.

Playing BF6, this game is fun AF so far. Haven't had this much fun with a AAA shooter since Modern Warfare 2019. I'm loving it so far, heres hoping they dont drop the ball with the full release.

Had the pleasure of watching Godzilla Final Wars tonight with a few friends. This movie is chessy AF and absolutely radiates early 2000s energy, but good lord was it a fun watch. It was so ridiculous and over the top I had no clue what I was gonna see next. It felt like an acid trip in a good way.

Watched the Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal. Gotta say, the game looks good so far. However, 2042 kinda burned me. I hope the game is good, I'd love another good BF3/4 style game. At least the beta is right around the corner, we'll see if were back or not soon.

Metallica - Kill 'Em All turns 42 today! What a great album for them to start out with that would lay the foundation for them (and in a way Megadeth). Its a textbook example of what classic thrash metal sounds like to me. Four Horsemen and Hit the Lights are easily my favorite songs on this album.

Bolt Thrower's Realm of Chaos is one of the first death metal albums I ever listened to, glad it was because this album kicks ass. Its a bit faster than their other albums, but still on the slower side for the genre. It set the template their albums would build upon and is very enjoyable.
