I've been using royalty-free sound effects exclusively so far, but today I had something specific in mind for the sound of a board game box being opened and couldn't quite find it, so I just went ahead and recorded the sound myself. 💪

Seems like YouTube is trying to make it harder to watch with ad block again. Couldn't click on videos on the home page, and videos wouldn't load from direct links... but disable ad block and it all works fine. 😠

making vn is easy you just write a book and then you read back each line from that book and think what facial expression are they making and then you draw each expression and then line by line you add a tag for the face they are making. the best part is you only have to do this a few thousand times

(I wish this didn't have the embed image it does, but) It's great to see outlets still talking about this and connecting it to larger trends. And folks are right to call on Steam to put its power to good use in this fight.

"Political violence" is a term that exists to suggest a moral distinction between "violence against politicians" and "violence by politicians" - so that one can be condemned while the other can be normalized. Obviously, no such distinction exists in reality: violence is violence.

There are two movies I've watched this year that my mind keeps returning to. Patlabor 2, about the way our peaceful society is propped up by violence abroad. Peep "TV" Show, about the inherent unreality of watching mass tragedy occur on our screens.

We all need to take this seriously. Payment processors are serving as extrajudicial arbiters of speech. This cannot be allowed to continue.
