As someone who has written 2 very different characters in roleplay, I see both sides of it. Cyrus is and was very hard to misunderstand so I do worry when he is misunderstood. He's the type of person to tell you exactly how it is and misunderstandings with him are typically "I meant what I said"

So turns out it's really trivial to get Captain status once you've got it in a different Grand Company. I had a harder time going from Private Third Class to Sergeant Second Class than I did going from Sergeant Second Class to Captain.
