Timeline: • 2021: 1 year of prototyping • May 2021: Pitch to Sony • 2022 - 2023: About 2 years of production • 2024: 6-9 months of polishing & finalizing • Sep 6 2024: Release

Prototyping was a big part Astro Bots's development Team Asobi spent 1 year prototyping. Even during development they would continue to prototype ideas outside of platforming. Some ideas get used like a sponge prototype that became a power up Other ideas never get used but may be used later!
