London Women's March on Saturday 18th January. Organisers are said that there was around 3000 on the march. Speakers talked about women's rights, defended trans rights but also spoke about Palestine, racism and the need to oppose Farage and confront Tommy Robinson.

Around 500 Kurds and local people marched from Turnpike Lane to the Kurdish Cultural Centre in Haringey tonight. The KCC remains occupied by Police following a raid. Protesters condemned the police for implying that Kurds were terrorists and called out the Turkish president Erdoğan for complicity.

Kurdish community restaurants and shops along Green Lanes showed solidarity by not opening last night in response to the attack on the Kurdish Community Centre in North London. The centre was raided by armed Police on Wednesday and remains closed as Police say they are still conducting searches.

A thousand protesters marched through Haringay tonight to protest at the raid by armed police on the Kurdish Community Centre yesterday. Kurds were joined by local people and trade unions. They were met with aggressive policing which only the discipline of the Kurdish organisations diffused.
