New Mexico's Department of Game and Fish did not include invertebrates in its definition of "wildlife", preventing the state from conserving most of the animals that lived there. As of March 20, the newly renamed Department of Wildlife has the authority to manage ALL wildlife, including inverts! 🐝🦋🪲
