Finished listening to the audiobook of this today. Brilliantly funny and compassionate and scathing and poignant. And the swearing is immaculate.

For the next 'zine I'm revisiting the time when George and I cycled around the Picos. Next spring will be 10 years since we did it so I think an actual revisit is called for.

Popped back over to Newhaven this morning to check out the Ancient//Flippant Collective exhibition about dew ponds on the South Downs including work by Angus Carlyle. Beautiful exhibition and good to catch up with Angus.

Great time at Rose Tinted Spectacular zine fair this afternoon. Sold some zines, bought some zines, swapped some zines. Southease & Clayton churches proved popular (note to self: include old maps & sad monks more often). Lots of lovely & interesting chats. Then pizza and ale at the Abyss popup bar.
