It’s always worth stopping off here to spring a leak and grab a cuppa on the way home.

The Priest’s House, Easton-on-the-Hill. A lovely little ‘find a key holder & let yourself in’ place with a small museum inside.

I admire the entrepreneur behind this. If there was a cask ale punt on the Cam I’d be tempted to give punting a try.

The price was a bit steep but well worth it to see inside Kings College Chapel. The university are raking it in from tourists like me.

I’m not a fan of Cambridge, but it does have a few nice buildings. I finally managed to make a visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum.

A great local should always have a decent selection of ciders as well as cask ales. The Frothblowers never disappoints.

We popped into a family shoe repairers/key cutters for a new watch battery today. After nearly 40 years in Bretton Centre they’re closing for good in 5 weeks. Actually made me quite sad, the world is crumbling.

The sun is out, grass cut (lovely smell too) and quick visit to Tesco done. Now a sit down in the fresh air with a cuppa and some light music. May even be a visit to the desert island disc archive.

'Terry meets Julie, Waterloo station, every Friday night' Quite possibly the best line from the best train song ever recorded. Discuss.

8 days left at work and all I want to do is sit in my pants drinking beer and listening to music far too loud. In my head I’m done for the year.

Peterborough Cathedral in a different light this evening. Not as intense as previous years (the first was like being in a rave) but still interesting. The Baileys Hot chocolate was very boozy.
