We also visited the experimental fields at IRTA Mas Badia, where we were able to see the #LivingLabs and the experiments currently being carried out. On our way to #BaixEmpordà, we visited Fructícola Empordà orchards and Mooma’s facilities 🍎🍷

Over two days, we exchanged updates on the project’s progress and worked collaboratively across the different work packages, covering #research, cooperation with #farmers, #communication, and much more 😍🍏

Alicia Kling tested successfully oral and contact exposures of several pesticides with an oligolectic versus poylectic bee species as part of @wildposh.eu together with @juliaosterman.bsky.social Dimitry Wintermantel. Great presentation at the annual conferene of bee research institutes.

We're finding lots of small (and some bigger) critters as we go along our springtime #fieldwork in Jiangxi China. Some wonderful Trametes fungi growing off deadwood we left in the forest last year! While #predators like Heteropoda (huntsman) and Telamonia (jumping) feast on termites. #macromonday

We will be assessing biotic and abiotic drivers of wood decomposition, as well as synergy and competition between ants, wood decomposers, and cavity-nesting Hymenoptera.
