Golden Sun is notorious for having a LOT of unskippable and mundane dialogue. What they should have done was... make these Yes/No prompts skip the dialogue in funny ways. The writing would have been twice as entertaining this way.

I always completely fill my inventory with rare weapons before transferring my data to Golden Sun 2, just to have them appear in that game, even though they're no longer useful at that point. This time I also transferred every stat boosting item.

As a kid it pissed me off that the early Final Fantasy games and Golden Sun had items you could permanently miss - sometimes very important ones - often hidden in obscure ways or behind RNG. This taught me to never design games that way.

Spent a while trying to figure out a weird bug and in the end it was simply that stop() was never called on a MovieClip that should have been stopped. It happens.

The Golden Sun Reloaded mod is excellent btw. The original battle mechanics are mindless and don't incentivise you to experiment with different character builds, and this mod addresses that pretty well. It works on hardware too!
