Ooh just saw the draft artwork for the July round from Nora. It’s beautiful 🤩 Our July theme rated a mention in the longlist episode! It wasn’t raised by us, but one of YOU! Someone was riding our wavelength for sure... Wonder what it could have been 🤔

I’ve had a busy day, and one of the many things I’ve done today is order the April trophy 🤩 So, there’s a dude at my local trophy place who knows who won the Not Quite Write Prize for Flash Fiction, but you guys can wait a little longer!

I have had such a bloody wonderful day. Too often I’ve got something to whinge about, but today was just really great on all fronts. And to top it off, our book launch made the local rag. Let the people have their smut!

Some recurring themes on this shortlist… it’s a bizarre collection of little matching sets!

Deep in the Team Ed stories and I want to say this loud enough for those in the back to hear… There are some fabulous stories that are *not* going to make this longlist! 😱 In some cases, it’s just a single fatal flaw that’s the culprit in an otherwise ripping yarn 😫
