While the US no longer has any official climate targets since its exit from the #ParisAgreement, there remains a coalition of states who are still working toward meeting the targets submitted by the US ahead of last year's election. However, the government is trying to head off that effort too.

US emissions are projected to be ~600MtCO2e-800MtCO2e higher in 2030 under the current administration’s policies and actions compared to its predecessor. We project US emissions to drop to 19-30% in 2030 below 2005 level (excl LULUCF) - from 29-39% previously.
