It’s a mental skill and emotional maturity to engage in a piece of work enough to realize that it’s not for us, then stop engaging in it without disparaging said media. Realizing it’s not immediately bad to be “not for us” and find fault in it for it being not for us.

Jokes aside, but I do feel like I need to give a gentle reminder to folks that the furry fandom is not a monolith. The people you choose to be around may not be a true representation of all furries for better or worse.
