Forgot to post this, my husband and I made pakora this weekend.

Wow. The last time I felt this worn out I had just run a furry con. It really was a rough week.

My job has been insanely busy this last week, but I think I might be doing some of the best work of my career. The potential impact of this project could be enormous. I wish I could talk more about it.

Removing a layer of pressure from my life was a good idea. Maybe I need to do less.

I'm done offering hypnosis sessions to anybody but referrals and regulars at this point. I've dealt with some serious lack of respect, boundary, and other issues lately and it's just not worth it anymore.

Just starting to feel better today. Back to the office now to spend all day writing contract proposal stuff.

Ugh, my stomach is all inflamed. I was starting to feel icky last night, feeling really icky this morning. Getting through the day is going to be a slog; at least the weekend is coming where I can rest and hopefully recover.

Had to swap my video card back to my RTX 3080 because my stupid Vive Focus Vision doesn't seem to support my new RX 9070 XT. Sooo frustrated that I spent all this money and I can't even use it for what I wanted.

Penne in a sauce of tomato puree, olive oil, sweet onion, and spring garlic from our garden. This lunch was completely vegan even.

A while back I switched to doing vegetarian meals for lunch as a rule; yesterday's was one of my favorites. Soy butter rice with stir fried broccoli. 🤤 I swear I could eat this 5 times a week and not get tired of it.

I melt for praise.

I found out yesterday that we need to replace our furnace and air conditioner. They're 22 years old and apparently that's a long time for both. The invoice is staggeringly expensive. 🫠 Despite that, I'm still feeling more chill than yesterday so that's a win.

I'm a ball of stress after work yesterday yet again. I feel like I never get enough time between shifts to calm and recenter myself before being thrown back into ops land.

It's funny how well meaning people can derail my morning. I'm buying groceries and right as I'm being handed my receipt the clerk looks at me intently with worried eyes and says "now you make it home safe now." It's like, oh you clocked me and reminded me that it's scary to be trans. Thanks...

Whoo I just put in a new plant stand and this corner is really coming together.

Just got done with a quick sfw regression session with @candicemakes.bsky.social , amazing work. Despite this being our first session it felt like talking to a good friend the entire time, 9/10 hypnotist and will happily schedule a session again in the future. X3

Aww shoot. My favorite uncle just passed away. He was one of the only people from my mom's side of the family who accepted this me. I'm really going to miss him.

Looking at my calendar for the weekend and wow, this is the first one in 3 months that I don't have any hypnosis subjects scheduled. Probably good to take a little break.

Hot pepper oil noodles; possibly the best vegan dish I know how to make. Ramen noodles tossed in a chili, shallot, garlic, and scallion oil sauce with soy sauce and black vinegar, topped with fresh scallions. My kingdom for some bok choy, but it was still pretty great.

Transformation girlies will really be like “oh no! This new form is permanent!” And then a week later they be turning into something else and acting like nothing even happened
