I'm seeing discussion today about library staff doing more with less. This has been happening long enough that many library workers (including myself) feel like we're slacking in any moment we're not drowning. It's not right and we have to be intentional about addressing that.

Real leadership in libraries means looking your community - including your boss's boss - in the face and saying to them that fewer staff means less services. There is no way around it. That's the truth of the matter. The community is either okay with that or not.
