This morning, my staff attended a Union Experience Fair at Building 21. These fairs help introduce students to union careers. In the afternoon, I attended the 8th District Police and Fire appreciation luncheon.

Coretta Scott King initiated the tradition of symbolically ringing the Liberty Bell at noon on MLK Day. It began in 1986, the first year of the national holiday. I was so honored to be a part of the tradition this year.

Busy morning ahead of the holiday weekend. First, the Bells Across PA America250 kickoff, then Blue and White Day hosted by Phi Beta Sigma & Zeta Phi Beta. Finally, my staff provided voting information at @repmcclinton.com's monthly food distribution.

It was a pleasure to take part in the America250PA Keystone Classroom Initiative this morning at Loesche School.

I am happy to be back at John F. Hartranft School to speak to the students about the importance of voting! I love visiting these kids every year and helping to facilitate their student elections. The school is a neighborhood gem.
