I joined @padempolicy.bsky.social for a hearing hosted by @repamen.com to discuss hunger & what can be done to address the ongoing issues. 1 in 5 adults & 1 in 3 children in PA face hunger, worse than during the pandemic. With SNAP funding cut by 20%, nearly 400M meals are at risk. We must act now.

Happy Grandparent’s Day! My Granny, Mother Minnie M. Joyner, passed away almost three years ago. I am so grateful she was able to visit the Capitol, and I was blessed to join my Mom in caring for her during the pandemic. Granny is now in heaven with my paternal Grandmother Joanna McClinton!
