It arrived at a time in my life when I was desperate for joy. Queer joy. The joy of found family. It unlocked a creativity that I was afraid was gone forever. I delved into an entirely new craft and made little felt figurines of the characters. #ALeagueOfTheirOwn

I could go on for hours the impact #ALeagueOfTheirOwn has had on my life. There's a sweetness and a melancholy in loving something that was short-lived in the scheme of our current media landscape. But I wouldn't trade those five minutes for anything.
