I've noticed many large companies, usually in the marketing field, rebrand enterprise applications for internal use. E.g., "YouPlace is our implementation of Workday" or "MoneyJunk is our internal name for our SAP deployment." Q1: Have you seen this too? Q2: WHHHYYY TF do they do this?

This is my new battle cry! What the heck happened to having partners in games? Of course party games still do this, but seemingly few card or tabletop games accommodate partner play.

I’m stealing some mechanisms from my own published design for a 3-6 player trick-taker. Every player count will have partners. At 3, one player will be their own partner. At 5, all players will have 2 partners; those being the 2 players sitting opposite them at the table. This is fun!

I've done more game design in the past week than I had in the year prior to that.

I recognize that GAMA does a lot of good for our industry. I joined 2 years ago as a creator member. This is anecdotal, but I gotta say it’s not worth it for me as an independent game designer. I don’t expect the organization to change to accommodate the needs of creators. It’s not their focus.
