I really liked this read. I loved the anthology feel of the chapters and the parts. The world-building was a little wonky at first, but it grew on me as I read on. The unwrapping & deeply thorough examination of “knowledge is power” was so enthralling.

In my opinion, this is a great sign. Viggo was brilliant in the Jackson trilogy and will always hold a special place in my heart, but I’m thrilled for new actors to join the Middle-earth family. Tolkien’s myth lives on in the re-telling and the way I see it: the more the merrier!

There’s so much of What Could’ve Been Done Better in ‘House of the Dragon’ if they had better writers, but the performances (Emma D’Arcy), the spectacle of the dragons & battles, and seeing the fantasy world we love in one of its darkest periods still make the show enjoyable, IMO
