There has been quite a few tourists coming by at work today, saying "we're here for two-three days, what can we do?" and I dunno what to tell them, cause this is truly the worst time of year to visit my city, there is NOTHING happening and most things are closed💀

Things my dad doesn't understand, part 2 - What it means to mansplain, or to bond over something - That the little weather messages showing up on my phone are in fact for my current location, and not for Sweden, even tho they're in Swedish (it's my current phone language)

I've rediscovered my love for slovenian music lately, kinda drifted away from it earlier this year after unstanning JO and getting obsessed with KAJ (or maybe it started last fall after not being able to attend any concerts when I was in Slovenia, poor planning on my part), feel good to be back🥹

I get a bit frustrated when I talk to someone about cool things I'm doing in my city, like hanging with queer people or folks I've met through Twitter, going to Pride, going to the cinema alone etc and they always answer "yeah I could never do that where I live"

When October started I told myself I'd take the bus as little as possible this month because I travelled so much in September and was sick of public transport. Ended up doing it just three times, two of them being to visit a friend who lives too far away to walk, it's been great

Going to a funeral was so weird cause I didn't know how anything worked or what was appropriate to say and do, people were saying condolences and I was just like "thanks...?", some of my relatives broke down crying by the grave and I just stood there like 🧍‍♀️ not feeling anything

I was having a sore throat and lowkey a headache yesterday, but today I feel pretty much fine?? Was so sure it'd break out into a flu, covid or at least a cold, but apparently (hopefully) not

One of my cousins made a gc and initiated we buy a wreath for my grandpas funeral, and literally all 12 of his grandchildren (+ his two oldest great-grandchildren who are in their 20's) wanted to join in on the cost, including my brother who hasn't taken part in any family gathering for 10+ years🥺

Now what the heck does one wear to a funeral😭 I don't own any formal black clothes help (I barely have formal clothes at all when I think about it💀)

I've been having a feeling that 2025 would be the year I'd lose my first grandparent, turns out I was right, my grandpa passed away tonight😯 (No need for condolences and such, he was 96 y/o and we weren't close at all, he was not a good man, I just felt like telling someone)

Guys do you remember I tweeted that I was minigolfing with a slovenian guy at queer speedfriending a year ago? Well I was there again today, speedfriending at the minigolf place, and met the same guy😭 He recognised me and we had a nice little chat🥺
