Sadly, I hope I'm wrong, but for the first time, I see the end for Starmer. Not because he doesn't have the fight in him, but because I fear his closest allies, colleagues and friends will betray him one by one. So many of them have Judas amongst their middle names. I see them gradually flipping.

As the Labour party prepares to eat itself from the inside, outwards, I can honestly say that I think they are no better than the Tories. I do however support Keir Starmer & all the Ministers, MP's & members who are loyal to him. I want this Govt to continue & to do well. Labour itself can do one.

After PM announces the under 16 social media ban, BBC News interviews various people... all negative about Starmer & the ban. Whatever the pros & cons of the ban, this is not balanced, or even unbiased reporting. Not one supporter of the ban was interviewed. They really have a thing about Starmer.

I'm not a "Labour" man, but voted for this Govt. After all those years of Tory leadership challenges & changing PM's, I never thought Lab would be like that. Now I see all these disloyal ex ministers lining up to do exactly the same. They really are no better. They should hang their heads in shame.

I'm all for huge defence spending increases, even if it means borrowing. I also think Starmer is a good PM, but how can Tories, Reform (stuffed full of ex Tories), or even Ed "Coalition" Davey, say more should be spent on defence after their part in decimating the UK military over those 14 years?

So the UK media spend months trashing (rightfully) the reputation and credibility of Mandelson. Now they spend all their time giving credence to the views and messages of that same person. Why the contradiction? Because they want to manufacture more gossip and titbits on Starmer. Simply pathetic.

I really think that Darren Jones is perhaps the best politician I have ever known in my long lifetime. He absolutely oozes confidence & competence. I hope this country makes the very best use of him in the future. At the moment, that being to continue for a few more years alongside Keir Starmer.

Really enjoying some of the things the Govt are doing for the 1st time in over 16 yrs & we know why. Sure- mistakes, lots not done, lots more to do & not all happy, but there are definite improvements, even if small. It's starting to happen. Don't let the egos of Burnham, Streeting & co spoil it.

So when all this frenzy is over in say 6 months, if the left, nutjobs & the media have got their way, we will have the ego that is Burnham as PM, a cabinet full of those he owes favour to, a Manchester Reform Mayor & all the previous good Government work undone. Clever stuff... Labour are crazy.

Dear Lab, Bring Rayner back into cabinet as long as she promises loyalty to Starmer for the duration of this Parliament & bar Burnham from standing as an MP candidate until he has served his Mayoral term & duty. Then get on with the bloody job elected to do, as hard, as quick & as bold as possible.

Rayner- good qualities but with great respect not PM material. Miliband- good, but had his chances and not good enough. Streeting- good qualities but no different to Starmer, just a poorer version. Burnham- self serving, disloyal and not as popular as likes to believe, nor an MP. Stay with Starmer.

Not good local elections for Labour. However, who has the most councillors in England (and the UK)? Who controls most councils in the England (and the UK)? I do believe it is still Labour. Also, who is in Government for at least another 5 years, with a huge majority? On to 2029 we go.

For all of my long life, I've lived in an area that has never had a Lab council, extremely few Lab councillors & very, very few Lab MP's. Yet this Govt & other Lab Govts have & do help all those in this same area. So although important-ish, don't think local elections matter that much. 2029 matters.

Did you notice yesterday, that when these desperate MP's calling for Starmer to go, had it explained to them that he had not lied to Parliament, they reverted back to the judgement call in simply appointing him. A call for which Starmer admitted was a mistake and apologised for, a long time ago.
