The Federation was anything but neoliberal; it was DS9 that was neoliberal, the New Labour of Star Trek. Contrary to what people say it didn't challenge the ideals of the Federation but change the show's philosophical premise so the original Federation was no longer itself.

There's something very odd about watching people debate whether the actors in The Odyssey should be black or white without ever considering whether they should be Greek.

A moral critique of the rich and powerful does not lead us to a better world - we need to understand the systemic problems, wealth and power accumulating in the hands of the few. That said they do appear to all be pedophiles and rapists, which does tell you something.

In my mind, there aren't two Talos games but four: The Talos Principle, Road to Gehenna, The Talos Principle II, and Road to Elysium. It's a shame so many people don't play DLCs these days, because these are basically sequels. (In the Beginning feels more like a short story.)
