Yeah, I really like this handheld. Been actually using it out, and it's kinda great as a companion to my gaming rig. I do think the best and worst thing about it is that it's a PC, though? Like you definitely need to tweak each game for the best compromise between visuals, performance, and battery.

Nooooot gonna lie, Pokopia potentially being a game key card is actually super disappointing to me? I like my actual physical cards, tbh... I like actual physical games, and it feels like getting something less than a complete package with those key cards, idk

Maybe it's because I'm already used to using keyboard shortcuts, but I'm actually vibing with the GNOME desktop environment on my PC? Maybe I'll change my mind when the inevitable annoyances creep in, but hey. So far, it feels pretty decent.

Gonna be spending my day helping boyfriend fix some PC issues. He moved over to Windows 11 the other day, started downloading some games through Steam, and was quickly hit with SSD write issues on his only-months-old games drive. His PC no longer recognises it. Fucking hell...

With Windows 10 losing support this month, it might be worth it for some people to try out Linux? An easy-to-use distro like Mint could help extend the life of a PC that's incompatible with Win 11, and for general purpose use and gaming (so long as it's not competitive), it's pretty viable!

Yeah, the new Silent Hill might be a game of the year contender for me so far. It's legitimately really, really good.

Yeah, after daily driving Fedora KDE for a few weeks now, I don't see any reason to return to Windows. Windows 11 made me honestly hate using my PC, because it felt designed to wear down at me. The way it'd re-enable settings I disabled, the way it kept pushing unwanted AI garbage. Uncomfy.

Yeah, holy shit. The state of gaming on Linux is so, so much better than it was when I was much younger, and using a system I cobbled together from spare parts running Ubuntu aha~ Pretty every game I've thrown at it just works with little to no effort~ It's kinda incredible.

I went "fuck it" and completely went all in on Linux (Fedora KDE) on my desktop. So... yeah, let's see how this goes~
