My happy little Christmas: Lord of the Rings extended versions on HBO Max while I read off and on and wash my bedding so I can have a cozy Christmas nights rest. Later we make steak and drink wine and hopefully go to sleep without more of this dang cough bothering me. Merry Christmas!

Rolling from Premiere League to NFL with a side of college football and basketball is an amazing way to spend a Saturday. Also books...trying to finish this one today.

Even though I felt kind of run down this week I did all five of my workouts. Building good habits slowly and not getting slowed down by not seeing instant results. Also my workout checklist provides that extra hit of dopamine when I get it done. Love a good to-do list.

Oof approaching the first Christmas as a divorced lady has me in my feels. And I'm not a cryer. I hate it here.

Really tired of the narrative the country was on death's door before January. I for one feel way worse off than before the presidential transition. I didn't constantly worry about my rights or the rights of my LQBTQ+ friends or whether ICE was going to kidnap my neighbors. But maybe that's just me.

Late night last night so I slept instead of getting up and working out. After work I got a mammogram, grocery shopped, and just did the damn workout because no excuses. And I feel great.

Been exercising for almost two weeks now. My body now wakes up at my set time regardless of when I go to sleep. And I feel like I have more energy even after a long night at wine club. So hooray for getting stronger and fitter.
