Reminder that disabled people on benefits are not the problem, as much as the government want you to believe it. If they taxed the rich like Labour is supposed to, there'd be enough for defence spending AND the welfare state. Bring back socialism, we've never needed it more.

The only time we came close where I live was the all night cafe Romeos in Middlesbrough in the 90s, which was a dive, but us night owls would sit and hang out, sharing a single can of pop and a couple of cigs until the first bus ran. It's time for change. Instead of telling disabled people 'we can only accommodate a few of you', tell able bodied people that they need to make space for us. If there is a large number of disabled people wanting to attend your event, then accommodate them. Do better.

Contacted local council last week about free blue badge parking, as most car parks are now pay to park. Told to look on their website. Useless. Emailed back and they said that the local retail park has free parking. No bank, CAB, small businesses, markets or charity shops at the damned retail park!

NOBODY IS ECONOMICALLY INACTIVE. There are people who are out of work. There are disabled people who can not work, or could work but the support they need is unavailable. BUT, even people who are on benefits are supporting the economy. Every penny goes back into the economy. Every.Penny.
