I love how I never have to go out of my way for Arknights CN news because *everyone* is guaranteed to be posting about it. (For clarity reasons this is a joke, I have and always will dislike the gap, I think clairvoyance is overrated, but if we are to catch up it better be compensated or else.)

Using an awning or tarp outside for shade might be ancient technology but even in an age of air conditioning it's kinda unbelievable how overpowered it is at helping said air conditioning keep up with the afternoon sun blasting towards the windows. Green tech doesn't have to be complicated.

I managed to get a Tecu Salamander very fast and confirm it myself and sadly they well and truly do not work with any of the Pacts 😞 That said Leagues 6 has been fantastic so far. I've gotten to tier 7 without unlocking any areas (besides Karamja) because Varlamore is THAT good.

The more I see new comments going over the same lame talking points wanting to be Extremely Correct™️ about Sneg, the more I think about the first line I said in that video & staying out of the Arknights operator review space. That said, "so this is what eloquent cope sounds like" made me laugh.

Could've been worse. Certainly got some low-brow stinkers in there, of course, but there are people who Get It™, and I'm glad. If having to wade through naysayers with mundane points I've already acknowledged is what it takes to find the folks who can appreciate what I'm saying, then so it shall be.

I'm so glad I follow people who repost art (i.e. the native sharing feature, not the stealing kind) because I think I'm at that point where I'm tired of seeing takes and casual spoiler discussion in the hashtag feeds. I acknowledge I can be part of this problem when I use tags, but still.

The next season of Icebreaker Games in Arknights brings about mixed feelings for me. It's cool/interesting/exciting seeing co-op & new gameplay remixes, but I have 0 desire to subject myself to public matchmaking or content creation for it. The vibes have been permanently tainted in that regard.

My OSRS video aged like milk, except for the fact that since I do not own a BowFa, Eye of Ayak, or a Tumeken's Shadow, 'meleeing' the Veiled Kraken using a safespot method remains my most cost-effective form of DPS. I don't even know why I went for this drop. Cannons are still awful post-update.

#Endfield I find Delver of the Cryptic to be a lore-justified yet thinly-veiled way to recycle assets. The level design is relatively low-brow, to the point where it could sometimes pass for a humble Roblox obstacle course were it not for the bells and whistles. But I can't deny: it do be pretty.

In my undergraduate studies, I always thought that as a STEM major it was concerning how many of my fellow STEM peers wrote off our humanities classes as just another checklist item. I'm not sure if looking back on that is horrifying, sobering, depressing, or some mix of all of the above.

LRP: Speaking from a US-based perspective, I'm not sure whether to be comforted by the shared hardship or concerned for the state of society when people on more conventional career paths than mine are also getting pinched out by the vice grip that is the so-called job market. It's rough out here.

I feel like I have seen, over the last month or two, people in nearly every career talk about how they feel like their industry is collapsing and need to find an out. Like games, yes. But also film, animation, journalism, academia and teaching, sciences, tech. even restaurants and retail.

Having to make space in my hard drive for new footage because the prices have spiked and money is tight is big no bueno when I gotta scrap and re-record material on a project I dropped before the protein video 🫠

I've noticed HDR content on YouTube blasts the entire screen to wash out all of the normal colors from the UI, other apps in PIP mode, etc. I know HDR looks pretty, but I've NEVER had a good experience getting it to work on anything. Can't even switch to SDR on these videos either, it's forced!

The rather sluggish inbuilt translate feature on this website thought a French post was Spanish. I dunno man, the longer I put up with this platform the more I want to throw the codebase into a pool. Though given the staff posts, I might just get my wish through no effort of my own.
